Locally Assembled Truck Sales in Egypt Surge 138% in H1 2025
Egypt’s truck market recorded strong growth in the first half of 2025, with total sales climbing 111% year-on-year to 12,300 units, up from 5,600 units in the same period last year, according to the latest report from the Automotive Market Information Council (AMIC).
Locally assembled trucks led the surge, with sales jumping 138% to 11,100 units, compared to 4,600 units in the first half of 2024. Imported truck sales also posted gains, rising 21% to 1,140 units from 940 units a year earlier.
The figures highlight a robust rebound in Egypt’s commercial vehicle sector, supported by increased local production capacity and steady demand for both domestic and imported models.
