US Dollar Remains Stable Against Egyptian Pound in ATM Rates on Friday, August 8, 2025

The US dollar maintained a stable exchange rate against the Egyptian pound on Friday, according to data from ATM machines linked to major banks operating in Egypt.

At the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), the average exchange rate stood at EGP 48.48 for buying and EGP 48.62 for selling, reflecting no significant movement since the last update.

At state-owned banks, the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr both reported identical rates of EGP 48.50 for buying and EGP 48.60 for selling.

Among private sector banks, Commercial International Bank (CIB) also maintained the same rates as public banks, with EGP 48.50 for buying and EGP 48.60 for selling. Bank of Alexandria recorded a slightly higher rate, quoting the dollar at EGP 48.51 for buying and EGP 48.61 for selling.
