US Dollar Declines Against Egyptian Pound in Midday Trading on Tuesday, July 1, 2025

The US dollar witnessed a slight decline against the Egyptian pound in midday trading on Tuesday across Egyptian banks, reflecting a mild strengthening of the local currency.
According to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), the dollar recorded EGP 49.56 for buying and EGP 49.66 for selling, compared to previous rates earlier in the week.
At Egypt’s largest state-owned banks, the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr, the dollar dropped to EGP 49.45 for buying and EGP 49.55 for selling. A similar trend was observed at Banque du Caire, AlexBank, and the Commercial International Bank (CIB), where the USD traded at the same rates.
