Xiaomi’s Powerful New Tablet, the Pad 7S Pro, Set to Disrupt the Market
Xiaomi is preparing to launch its next-generation flagship tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro, promising cutting-edge performance and a premium user experience. Following a series of leaks and a recent Geekbench appearance confirming the presence of Xiaomi’s in-house Xring O1 chipset, the device’s full specifications have now surfaced through renowned tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo.
According to the leaks, the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro will boast a 12.5-inch LCD display with an impressive 3.2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, delivering ultra-smooth visuals and sharp clarity. The screen will support up to 1000 nits of peak brightness and full DC dimming for eye comfort. Xiaomi is also said to be working on a special low-light variant optimized for extended reading sessions.
Under the hood, the tablet will be powered by Xiaomi’s proprietary Xring O1 processor, clocked at 3.4GHz, built to handle demanding multitasking, gaming, and productivity applications. It packs a massive 10,610mAh battery, backed by 120W fast charging, making it one of the fastest-charging tablets in its class.
The device will feature a 32MP front-facing camera for high-resolution video calls and selfies, and a 50MP rear camera sensor for professional-grade photography.
Other standout features include a quad-microphone array, support for a floating magnetic keyboard, and full compatibility with Xiaomi’s latest Focus Touch stylus. The tablet will run on Android 15, layered with HyperOS 2.0, Xiaomi’s refined custom user interface.
With a slim profile of just 5.8mm and a weight of only 576 grams, the Pad 7S Pro manages to combine large-screen versatility with on-the-go portability.
Xiaomi is expected to debut the Pad 7S Pro later this month in China, potentially alongside the much-anticipated Xiaomi Mix Flip 2, rumored to be the company’s only foldable smartphone of 2025.
