Ericsson Tops Frost Radar™ for 5G Network Infrastructure Leadership for Fifth Consecutive Year

Ericsson has once again secured the top position in Frost & Sullivan’s “Frost Radar™: 5G Network Infrastructure, 2025”, marking the fifth consecutive year the company has been recognized as the global leader in this critical technology sector. The accolade underscores Ericsson’s continued innovation, customer-centric approach, and unmatched ability to meet the evolving needs of communications service providers (CSPs) and enterprises worldwide.
Frost & Sullivan evaluated over 100 global participants and independently ranked the top 23 companies demonstrating leadership or innovation in various segments of the 5G infrastructure market. Ericsson emerged at the forefront, reflecting its dominance in areas such as Radio Access Networks (RAN), Open and Virtual RAN, core and edge networks, and private networks.
According to the report, Ericsson’s bold investments in Open RAN technology and artificial intelligence-driven automation are shaping the future of mobile connectivity. The company’s early engagements with major CSPs are expected to accelerate the industry-wide shift toward open, interoperable network architectures.
