The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and the National Training Academy (NTA) have celebrated the graduation of the fourth cohort of trainees from the Digital Egypt Leaders National Initiative.

Launched as a joint effort between MCIT and NTA, the initiative is a fully-funded program designed for non-ICT-specialist leaders within the state’s administrative apparatus. It aims to equip public sector leaders with advanced digital and leadership skills to enhance institutional performance, support informed decision-making, and improve the quality of services delivered to citizens.

The program focuses on leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), data, and emerging digital technologies to optimize government operations, promote transparency, and ensure the sustainability of digital transformation efforts across government institutions. It represents a pivotal step toward establishing an efficient and innovative administrative structure that maximizes resource utilization and contributes to national sustainable development goals.

Since its inception, more than 588 participants from various government entities have graduated from the initiative. The curriculum offers a comprehensive learning experience, covering areas such as digital transformation, emerging technologies, institutional digital leadership, national digital strategies and ecosystems, as well as crisis and digital risk management to ensure operational continuity and safeguard data and digital assets.
