LG Egypt and Misr El Kheir Foundation Launch “Better Home” Initiative to Support Marriage Facilitation in Dakahlia
As part of its ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility under the “Life’s Good” slogan, LG Egypt has joined forces with Misr El Kheir Foundation to launch the “Better Home” initiative—an impactful program aimed at supporting underprivileged communities by facilitating access to stable and dignified living conditions for newlyweds.
The initiative debuted in Basat Karim El Din village, located in the Sherbin district of Dakahlia Governorate, as part of Misr El Kheir’s long-established Marriage Facilitation Program, which empowers young couples to begin their lives together in secure home environments.
As part of the initiative, LG Egypt provided in-kind donations of essential home appliances, including top-load washing machines and 43-inch smart televisions. These contributions feature some of LG’s latest energy-efficient technologies, designed to offer user-friendly and durable solutions that enhance everyday living for beneficiary families.
“This program brings the essence of our ‘Life’s Good’ philosophy into real-life impact,” said Mohamed El-Gadawy, Marketing and Public Relations Director at LG Egypt. “Through ‘Better Home’, we aim to go beyond product excellence, delivering meaningful support to families and communities in need. We believe in smart, human-centered solutions that improve quality of life inside the home.”
Representing Misr El Kheir, Eng. Ahmed Youssef, Senior Director of the Direct Aid Program, praised the collaboration: “Our aid programs operate year-round across Egypt, driven by our mission to restore dignity and develop human potential. Youssef emphasized that the initiative aligns seamlessly with Misr El Kheir’s overarching goal of human development, highlighting the importance of strategic partnerships in achieving sustainable impact.
Looking ahead, LG Egypt confirmed that “Better Home” is just the beginning of a broader series of community-focused projects under the “Life’s Good” platform. The company plans to extend the initiative to additional governorates, reinforcing its long-term commitment to social development across Egypt.
